About Me..

Hi! I am Melissa, the photographer of MWE Photography. I am 28 years old and I am married to a wonderful husband of 4 years. I have two wonderful boys. Ethan is 3 years old and Evan is almost 6 months old now. You have probably already seen them in my pictures.
I have always had a love for photography. I took thousands of pictures when I was a little girl. My mom would always get me a camera and I would take a bunch of pictures and have to have the film developed. One day when I was in my late teens or so, I opened up the newspaper to see the most wonderful thing and I wanted it so bad. It was the first digital camera! I thought that was so amazing to get to see your pictures right when you took it! I wanted that camera so bad, but it cost well over $1000.00 for a 1 mega pixel camera. I was a teenager, I couldn't afford that kind of thing. It wasn't until about 5 years ago when I got my first digital camera as a Christmas present. I thought that was the most amazing thing in the world. Over the 5 years, I study everyday about photography, lighting, photoshop, techniques and more. My husband got me the SLR Professional Nikon D70, and I am so proud of that thing. I have so far taken 13,000 pictures! I want to take more:)
I have now started this business for it has been my dream to be a photographer and to photograph families and weddings and much more.
